The Western Union network covers more than 200 countries and territories around the world and has more than 500,000 agency offices, which makes their services available even in the most remote places of the world.

To send or receive money transfers via Western Union, you will need to provide the following documents and information:

  1. For sending a transfer:
    • Passport or ID card.
    • The remittee's full name.
    • The country and city where the transfer is sent.
    • The transfer amount.
    • Sometimes you may need to provide additional information, such as the remittee's address and phone number.
  1. For receiving a transfer:
    • Passport or ID card.
    • The Money Transfer Control Number (MTCN) that you will receive from the remittor.
    • Remittor’s full name and the expected transfer amount.
    • Remittor's country.

Transfer receipt period: minimum of 2 minutes, maximum of 15 minutes.
